The machines ibara is developed and tested on. Both are five-year-old, low-power ACEPC mini PCs with the same Celeron J3455 processor, the kind of spare computer ibara is built for.
Most runs on Test results, and all but one figure on Benchmarks, come from these two: tasks in signed-in browsers, saving files in a desktop app, Take Control and Hand Back, sending files between them, ibara’s memory (with tater1 limited to 2 GB, and again on tater0’s full memory), four agents connecting themselves from one prompt, and 73 benchmark runs by real agents.
10 W processor rating; mini PCs like this typically draw 6–15 W at the wall not measured
RUNNING COST
About $13 a year at 10 W around the clock and $0.15/kWh (87.6 kWh); $8–20 across 6–15 W estimate
RATINGS, NOT MEASUREMENTS
Power is the processor’s 10 W rating and the typical draw of mini PCs like these, not a reading from these machines. Running cost is worked out from it the same way as the cost calculator: watts × 24 hours × 365 ÷ 1,000, times $0.15 per kWh.
tater1 finished installing Omarchy in 5 minutes 24 seconds on September 24.
Specs come from the machines themselves. Memory is measured on the machine with ibara running; the figures are under resource use. Power isn’t measured: it’s the processor’s rating and typical draw, and each figure on this page is labelled.
Both machines are also on Registered machines, where anyone can add a computer.
